Katherine D. Wyatt, 1951-2003, Knob Noster

Katherine D. Wyatt, 52, of Knob Noster, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, at her son's home in Warrensburg.

She was born April 15, 1951, in Bristol, Va., a daughter of Charles H. and Virginia Flowers Truitt. On Sept. 24, 1977, at Whiteman Air Force Base, she was married to Samuel Wyatt, who died March 29, 1993.

Mrs. Wyatt was a high school graduate. She attended two years of college and was a homemaker.

Surviving are two daughters, Katherine E. Jisa, of Bossier City, La., and Joni E. Marion, of Mildenhall Air Force Base in England; a son, Larry M. Anderson, of Warrensburg; her parents, of Dallas; three sisters, Barbara Crumby, of Dallas, Sandra Perkins, of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Patty Sullivan, of Arlington, Texas; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, with the Rev. Matt Hunt officiating. Cremation is planned following the service. Private burial will be at a later date at Knob Noster Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Johnson County Hospice in care of the funeral home.
